The G2 Hot Knife from Wind-lock is the next generation in Hot Knives. Like its predecessor, the Gen2 version is the “go-to” tool for professionals working with EIFS, ICF, SIP, EPS, and XPS foam. With up to 220W of power, the G2 Hot Knife reaches temperatures in the neighborhood of 600° in seconds allowing you to accurately cut foam without leaving behind a foam particle mess. The dual, built-in cooling fans help protect your Hot Knife from overheating during moderate-heavy use.

In addition to our Aesthetic Groove Blades, most of our standard Hot Knife Blade Accessories are compatible with the G2 Hot Knife, but you will need to purchase the Q-SLEDG2 if you prefer to make your cuts using the 6” wide guide sled attachment. Prior to purchasing any additional Blades, please consult our G2 Hot Knife Compatibility List to avoid any delays on the job related to having the wrong blade.
