The Century Wire and Cable PowerTech® In-Line GFCI Adapter provides added electrical shock protection for power tools, extension cords, equipment, and other jobsite devices. Designed to serve as an interface between a standard non-GFCI extension cord and the power source, this heavy-duty adapter makes it easy to add ground fault protection where it is needed on construction sites, in workshops, garages, and other demanding environments.

The patented solid-state Class A GFCI interrupts power when a fault current of 4–6mA is detected and features a manual reset that helps prevent equipment from accidentally restarting before the problem has been corrected. A red Power On indicator provides quick visual confirmation of operating status, while built-in neutral, ground-neutral, and surge protection provide additional protection for connected equipment.

Built around a 3' length of heavy-duty 12/3 SJTW cord, the PowerTech® adapter uses three conductors containing 65 strands of 30 AWG 100% copper wire for excellent flexibility under load. Century's cold-weather PVC insulation and jacket remain flexible in temperatures down to -40°F, making this adapter well suited for year-round professional jobsite use.
